SJRES 63 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Bureau of Land Management relating to "Central Yukon Record of Decision and Approved Resource Management Plan".
S. J. RES. 63 Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Bureau of Land Management relating to ``Central Yukon Record of Decision and Approved Resource Management Plan''.
Summary
This joint resolution uses the Congressional Review Act to disapprove a Bureau of Land Management rule issued in November 2024 regarding the "Central Yukon Record of Decision and Approved Resource Management Plan." If passed, the resolution would nullify the rule, preventing it from having any legal force or effect. The Government Accountability Office determined the management plan qualified as a rule subject to congressional review. The resolution was introduced by Senators Sullivan and Murkowski and discharged from committee in October 2025.
