Summary

This joint resolution prohibits the issuance of a license amendment to export Boeing Direct Attack Weapons to Israel, specifically blocking a proposed transfer to the Israeli Ministry of Defense. The blocked transfer includes 15,500 additional Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) tail kits and 615 Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) Increment I variants, as described in Defense Department Transmittal No. DDTC 24-052. The resolution invokes Congress's authority under the Arms Export Control Act to disapprove proposed military sales to foreign countries. If passed by both chambers and signed into law, it would prevent the licensing of this specific weapons transfer and would override the executive branch authorization of the sale.
