SJRES 146 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

Summary
This joint resolution disapproves of a rule submitted by the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection that would have withdrawn a previous rule relating to mortgage lending standards. Specifically, it blocks the CFPB's attempt to withdraw the rule concerning the Application of Regulation Z's Ability-To-Repay Rule for certain situations involving successors-in-interest. If approved, this resolution would prevent the withdrawal from taking effect, leaving the mortgage lending rule in place.
