Mr. Lujan (for himself and Mr. Heinrich) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs
A BILL
To direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to include two counties in New Mexico in a certain Veterans Integrated Service Network.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the “New Mexico Rural Veteran Health Care Access Act”.
SEC. 2. INCLUSION OF TWO COUNTIES IN NEW MEXICO IN A CERTAIN VETERANS INTEGRATED SERVICE NETWORK.
Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall redraw the boundaries of the Veterans Integrated Service Networks to include Otero County and Eddy County, New Mexico, in Veterans Integrated Service Network 17. <all>
