S 3363 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
To require the Federal Emergency Management Agency to publish information related to public assistance awards, and for other purposes.
Summary
This bill requires the Federal Emergency Management Agency to publish an interactive public dashboard on its website for each major disaster showing detailed information about public assistance awards. The dashboard would track damage categories, proposed grant costs with federal and non-federal cost-share breakdowns, applicant information, submission dates, and project descriptions. It would also display the status of FEMA's review and approval of projects, including approval and grant issuance dates, and explanations for any denied requests or delays. The dashboard would include project-level progress updates and information on assistance requests, timelines, and disbursement dates. FEMA may add other information to the dashboard as determined appropriate to ensure transparency and accountability.
