To repeal certain provisions relating to taxpayer subsidies for home electrification, and for other purposes.
Summary
This bill would repeal three provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act that provided taxpayer subsidies for home electrification programs. The repealed sections funded high-efficiency electric home rebate programs and related electrification incentives for homeowners. The bill would also rescind any unobligated (unspent) federal funds from these programs, making them unavailable for future use. A conforming change would remove references to the eliminated rebate program from remaining tax provisions.
