To require inclusion on the list of Chinese military companies operating in the United States of Chinese entities on certain other lists maintained by the United States Government.
Summary
The CLEAR Act of 2025 requires the Secretary of Defense to review Chinese entities that are added to other United States Government lists subject to restrictions or scrutiny. These reviewed entities would be considered for inclusion in the annual revision of the list of Chinese military companies operating in the United States. The bill amends existing law to ensure that Chinese entities identified across various government watchlists are evaluated for addition to the military companies designation list.
