It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
Flood Protection and Infrastructure Resilience Act of 2025
To modify Department of Agriculture programs to improve flood protection and infrastructure resiliency, and for other purposes.
Summary
This bill modifies Department of Agriculture conservation and watershed programs to improve flood protection and infrastructure resilience. The bill amends the Emergency Watershed Program to allow the USDA Secretary to undertake restoration measures that provide more than the minimum protection needed if determined necessary for long-term watershed health or protection from repetitive flooding. The bill modifies funding for rehabilitation of flood control structures, allowing federal funding of up to 65 percent of costs (or up to 90 percent in limited resource areas). The bill expands the Regional Conservation Partnership Program to include flood prevention, mitigation, and resilience improvements as eligible purposes. These amendments focus USDA conservation programs on increasing flood protection infrastructure and watershed resilience.
