NCUA Central Liquidity Facility Enhancements Act

To amend the Federal Credit Union Act to provide for certain ways in which credit unions may be Agent members of the National Credit Union Administration Central Liquidity Facility.

Introduced Jul 30, 2025

Summary

This bill amends the Federal Credit Union Act to modify rules governing Agent membership in the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Central Liquidity Facility. Currently, the law requires all credit unions to be Agent members of the Central Liquidity Facility. The bill changes this requirement to allow the NCUA Board discretion to determine which credit unions may be Agent members, rather than automatically including all credit unions. This change gives the Board flexibility to selectively designate Agent members based on criteria it determines appropriate.
