Smart Pricing Practices Permanence Act
To modify and extend the pilot program to accelerate contracting and pricing processes, and for other purposes.
Summary
This bill modifies the pilot program to accelerate military contracting and pricing processes established under the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act. It changes reporting requirements from "minimal reporting" to "no unique reporting" for the accelerated contracting process. The bill also removes a previous sunset or termination provision, making the accelerated contracting pilot program permanent rather than time-limited.
