S 1963 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
Emergency Disaster Relief Fund Act of 2025
To appropriate amounts to the Disaster Relief Fund of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Summary
This bill appropriates $25 billion for fiscal year 2025 to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for its Disaster Relief Fund account. The funds are designated as an emergency requirement under the Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010, which means they do not count against spending caps and budgetary limitations. The emergency designation allows Congress to allocate these funds outside of normal budget constraints in response to disaster relief needs.
