To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide for the inadmissibility of certain aliens seeking citizenship for children by giving birth in the United States, and for other purposes.
Summary
The bill amends immigration law to classify certain foreign nationals as inadmissible if their primary purpose for entering the United States as a visitor is to give birth and obtain U.S. citizenship for their child. The law does not apply to aliens who are seeking legitimate medical treatment for childbirth, provided that obtaining citizenship for the child is not their primary purpose of entry.
