S 1650 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
VA Employee Fairness Act of 2025
To amend title 38, United States Code, to modify authorities relating to the collective bargaining of employees in the Veterans Health Administration.
Summary
This bill modifies federal law governing collective bargaining rights for Veterans Health Administration employees by removing certain provisions from title 38, United States Code. Specifically, it amends section 7422 by striking subsections (b), (c), and (d). The bill clarifies that these changes do not limit the Secretary of Veterans Affairs' ability to use incentive pay, expedited hiring, or other specified personnel flexibilities. The net effect is to broaden the scope of collective bargaining authority for VA health employees.
