A BILL
To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to increase support for physicians and other practitioners in adjusting to Medicare payment changes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the “Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act of 2025”.
SEC. 2. INCREASING SUPPORT FOR PHYSICIANS AND OTHER PRACTITIONERS IN ADJUSTING TO MEDICARE PAYMENT CHANGES.
(a) In General.—Section 1848(t) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395w-4(t)) is amended—
(1) in the header, by striking “2024” and inserting “2025”; and
(2) in paragraph (1)—
(A) in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking “2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024” and inserting “2021 through 2025”;
(B) in subparagraph (D), by striking “and” at the end;
(C) in subparagraph (E), by striking the period and inserting “; and”; and
(D) by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:
“(F) such services furnished on or after June 1, 2025, and before January 1, 2026, by 8.51 percent.”.
(b) Conforming Amendment.—Section 1848(c)(2)(B)(iv)(V) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395w-4(c)(2)(B)(iv)(V)) is amended by striking “2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024” and inserting “any of years 2021 through 2025”. <all>
