Summary

The bill amends the Public Lands Corps Act of 1993 to modify the cost-sharing requirements for conservation projects conducted by qualified youth and conservation corps. Specifically, it increases the federal government's cost-sharing contribution from 75 percent to 90 percent, and reduces the required local or partner contribution from 25 percent to 10 percent. These changes make it easier for youth and conservation corps to carry out conservation projects on public lands by requiring a smaller financial commitment from non-federal sources.
