HRES 497 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

RESOLUTION
Expressing support for the designation of a “Veterans Appreciation Month”.
Whereas the veterans of the United States have shown steadfast dedication, defending the Nation’s sovereignty, values, and freedoms; Whereas these brave men and women have served with distinction in conflicts across the globe, enduring hardships on land, sea, and air to protect the American way of life; Whereas the sacrifices of veterans, including separation from loved ones, physical and psychological burdens, and the ultimate risk of life, have preserved the liberties that define our great Nation; Whereas June, nestled between Memorial Day’s tribute to our fallen heroes and Independence Day’s celebration of our Nation’s birth, and marked by the historic D-Day anniversary, offers a time to take pride in our veterans’ contributions to this great Nation; and Whereas the people of the United States are proud of the courageous service of all who selflessly served in the United States Armed Forces: Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That the House of Representatives supports the designation of a “Veterans Appreciation Month”. <all>
