HRES 1454 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
July 23, 2026
Ms. Mace submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on House Administration
RESOLUTION
Directing the Committee on House Administration to revoke and prevent the registration of certain Congressional Member Organizations and Congressional Staff Organizations.
Whereas for decades there have been Congressional Member Organizations (commonly referred to as caucuses) and Congressional Staff Organizations formed on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin and who admit and decline to admit members on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin; Whereas Congressional Member Organizations and Congressional Staff Organizations formed on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin serve as affinity groups to organize and advocate for the perceived interests of a particular race, color, ethnicity, or national origin over others; Whereas Representatives are expected to represent all of their constituents and not favor or disfavor any individuals or groups on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin; Whereas admitting or declining to admit members to an organization on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin is an act of discrimination on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin; and Whereas providing recognition to Congressional Member Organizations or Congressional Staff Organizations which discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin affects the dignity and integrity of the proceedings of the House: Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That the Committee on House Administration shall revoke, and may not approve, the registration of any Congressional Member Organization or Congressional Staff Organization that—
(1) is formed primarily or substantially on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin;
(2) admits or declines to admit members on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin; or
(3) organizes or advocates for the perceived interests of a particular race, color, ethnicity, or national origin over others. <all>
