HRES 1095
Passed House Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

Summary

This resolution would provide for House floor consideration of H.R. 7744, the Department of Homeland Security appropriations bill for fiscal year 2026. The resolution waives points of order against the bill's consideration and provisions, meaning procedural objections cannot be raised. It allows for one hour of debate equally divided between the majority and minority, and permits one motion to recommit. The resolution considers the bill as read, expediting the legislative process. These procedures are standard for appropriations bills considered through the House Rules Committee.
