IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

January 22, 2026

Mrs. Luna submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Rules

RESOLUTION

Recommending that the House of Representatives find William J. Clinton and Hillary R. Clinton in contempt of Congress for refusal to comply with a subpoena duly issued by the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Resolved, That William J. Clinton and Hillary R. Clinton shall be found to be in contempt of Congress for failure to comply with a congressional subpoena. Resolved, That pursuant to the inherent power of the House of Representatives, William J. Clinton shall be fined $5,000 for each day that the said William J. Clinton fails to comply with the subpoena after the date of the approval of this Resolution. Resolved, That pursuant to the inherent power of the House of Representatives, Hillary R. Clinton shall be fined $5,000 for each day that the said Hillary R. Clinton fails to comply with the subpoena after the date of the approval of this Resolution. Resolved, That the Speaker of the House shall take all appropriate action to enforce the subpoena and this Resolution. <all>
