Mr. Moore of Utah (for himself, Mr. Arrington, Mr. Grothman, Mr. Carey, Mr. McDowell, Mr. Obernolte, and Mr. Smucker) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, and in addition to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

A BILL

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to increase funding for the Health Care Fraud and Abuse Control Account.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the “Anti-Fraud Fund Act of 2026”.

SEC. 2. INCREASING FUNDING FOR THE HEALTH CARE FRAUD AND ABUSE CONTROL ACCOUNT.

Section 1817(k)(3)(A)(i) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395i(k)(3)(A)(i)) is amended—

(1) in subclause (IV), by inserting “and further increased, for each of fiscal years 2027 through 2030, by $7,000,000,000” before the semicolon; and

(2) by adding at the end the following flush language: “In determining the limit under this clause for fiscal year 2028 or a subsequent fiscal year (through fiscal year 2031), the limit under this clause for the preceding fiscal year shall be deemed to have been equal to such limit otherwise determined under this clause, reduced by $7,000,000,000.”. <all>
