HR 9126 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
HCBS Anti-Fraud Reporting Act of 2026
To amend title XIX of the Social Security Act to require States to report on anti-fraud measures relating to home and community-based services furnished under the Medicaid program.
Summary
The bill requires states to report annually to the federal government on fraud and abuse detected in Medicaid home and community-based services programs, beginning in 2026. States must report both instances of waste, fraud, or abuse they have identified and the measures they have taken to prevent such problems. The reporting requirement applies to services delivered under Medicaid waivers that allow flexibility in how states provide services to beneficiaries.
