Summary

This bill grants Crook County, Oregon, a permanent 80-foot wide right-of-way across federal land to construct a new road from Oregon Route 380 to Juniper Canyon Road. The bill also transfers approximately 160 acres of federal land (four 40-acre parcels) to the county without charge, with the requirement that the land be maintained as fire safe zones for emergency response and wildfire safety. The county must pay all costs associated with the land transfer. If the county fails to maintain the land as fire safe zones, ownership of the parcels reverts to the federal government.
