Summary

This bill amends federal law to expand the definition of domestic terrorism under title 18 of the United States Code. Currently, the definition covers acts that are dangerous to human life; the bill would broaden it to also include acts that cause significant property damage. The expanded definition would apply only to acts that obstruct or impede law enforcement officers, first responders, or persons seeking medical attention in carrying out their duties or receiving care.
