Summary

This bill amends the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act and the Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Act to treat the District of Columbia as a state for purposes of these programs. The bill redefines the term "State" in both acts to include the District of Columbia alongside the 50 states. This change would allow the District of Columbia to participate in these federal wildlife and sport fish restoration funding programs on the same basis as states. The amendments remove special provisions that previously applied only to the District of Columbia.
