A BILL

To direct the Architect of the Capitol to install an adult changing room in the Library of Congress and the Capitol Visitor Center.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. ADULT CHANGING ROOMS IN CAPITOL VISITOR CENTER AND LIBRARY OF CONGRESS.

(a) In General.—The Architect of the Capitol shall install, in not less than 1 restroom in the Library of Congress and the Capitol Visitor Center, an adult changing room.

(b) Adult Changing Room Defined.—In this section, the term “adult changing room” means a private, fully accessible restroom equipped with features such as an adult-sized changing bench, various safety rails attached to a secure surface, a mounted or movable hoist, and sufficient space for 1 or 2 caregivers. <all>
