Summary
The bill extends the continuing appropriations for fiscal year 2026 through May 22, 2026. It addresses a lapse in appropriations that occurred around February 14, 2026, by authorizing back pay for federal employees during that period and ratifying all government obligations incurred during the shutdown. The bill appropriates funds from both the Continuing Appropriations Act and the Consolidated Appropriations Act for personnel pay and benefits across federal departments and agencies.
