Summary

This bill expands eligibility for health care and support programs for homeless veterans. It modifies the existing Health Care for Homeless Veterans Program to include additional eligible populations under section 2031 of title 38 of the United States Code. The bill makes certain homeless veterans programs permanent by removing temporary authorization restrictions and sunset dates that previously limited their duration. Specifically, it removes the sunset provision from the Program of Additional Services for Homeless Veterans, ensuring these programs continue indefinitely rather than requiring periodic reauthorization.
