HR 670 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide for a minimum number of refugees who may be admitted in any fiscal year after fiscal year 2026, and for other purposes.
Summary
The Lady Liberty Act of 2025 amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to establish a minimum annual refugee admission level. Beginning in fiscal year 2027, the United States must admit at least 125,000 refugees each fiscal year. This minimum applies regardless of any determination made by the President, effectively setting a floor for refugee admissions that cannot be lowered.
