HR 6321 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
To terminate the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation, and for other purposes.
To terminate the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation, and for other purposes.
Summary
This bill would repeal the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Act, effectively terminating the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation. All funds held in the Christopher Columbus Scholarship Fund would be deposited into the general fund of the Treasury. The bill also amends the Christopher Columbus Quincentenary Coin Act to direct revenue from those coins to the general Treasury fund rather than to the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation.
