Summary

This bill modifies loan limits for multifamily housing under the Federal Housing Administration by significantly increasing the maximum loan amounts that the FHA can insure for various types of multifamily residential projects. The bill establishes new dollar limits across multiple housing programs and changes the adjustment mechanism to use the Price Deflator Index for Multifamily Residential Units Under Construction, beginning January 1, 2026. Annual adjustments to these loan limits will be made using this price index and rounded down to the nearest dollar.
