K2 Veterans Total Coverage Act of 2025

To amend title 38, United States Code, to establish additional presumptions of service connection for certain diseases that occur in veterans who suffered toxic exposure while serving at Karshi Khanabad Air Base, Uzbekistan.

Introduced Nov 4, 2025

Latest action (Nov 4, 2025) Referred to the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs.

Summary

This bill amends veterans benefits law to establish presumptions of service connection for veterans who served at Karshi Khanabad Air Base, Uzbekistan, and have certain diseases and conditions. Under the bill, veterans who served at the base would be presumed to have service-connected status for cancer, thyroid disease, bone disease, cardiovascular disease, skin disease, neurological disease, reproductive disease, respiratory disease, endocrine disease, liver disease, kidney disease, blood disorders, primary immune regulatory disorders, medically unexplained chronic multisymptom illness, and cataracts. This presumption means the Department of Veterans Affairs would assume these conditions are related to military service without requiring the veteran to prove the connection.
