Mrs. Hayes introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Armed Services

A BILL

To direct each Secretary of a military department to conduct a review and update of any online information relating to suicide prevention or behavioral health.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the “Accurate Mental Health Resources for Our Servicemembers Act of 2025”.

SEC. 2. REVIEW AND UPDATE OF ONLINE INFORMATION RELATING TO SUICIDE PREVENTION AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH.

(a) In General.—Not later than August 1, 2027, each Secretary of a military department shall—

(1) review any information relating to suicide prevention or behavioral health that is published on an internet website of the military department at the installation level;

(2) update such information, including any contact information for suicide prevention or behavioral health resources, as may be necessary; and

(3) submit to the congressional defense committees a certification that such information is accurate as of the date of such certification.

(b) Definitions.—In this Act, the terms “congressional defense committees” and “military department” have the meanings given the terms in section 101 of title 10, United States Code. <all>
