Mr. Andrews introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure

A BILL

To direct the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration to issue standards for the use of motorized skate boards.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. MOTORIZED SKATE BOARDS.

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration to issue appropriate standards for the use of skate boards with handle bars, small front wheels, and a lawn mower engine to power it to assure the safety of the operator and persons who come in contact with the boards when motorized. <all>
