Ms. Mace introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

A BILL

To amend title 28, United States Code, related to vacancies in offices of United States Attorneys, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the “No Appointments by Rogue Judges Act”.

SEC. 2. VACANCIES OF UNITED STATES ATTORNEYS.

Section 546 of title 28, United States Code, is amended—

(1) by amending paragraph (2) of subsection (c) to read as follows:

“(2) the expiration of the time limitations in section 3346.”; and

(2) by striking subsection (d). <all>
