HR 4778 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

Summary
This bill grants Jeanette Vizguerra-Ramirez eligibility for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident, notwithstanding normal visa allocation procedures. If she enters the United States before filing an application, she is considered to have entered and remained lawfully and becomes eligible for adjustment of status. She must file her application and pay required fees within 2 years of the bill's enactment. Upon approval, one immigrant visa slot is deducted from the allocation for her country of birth for the current or next fiscal year to offset the visa granted to her. Her relatives—parents, brothers, and sisters—do not receive any immigration rights or preferences based on her status.
