To prohibit the imposition of duties on certain baby sleep items pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, and for other purposes.
Summary
This bill prohibits the President from imposing tariffs or duties on certain baby sleep items, including cribs, toddler beds, mattresses, bedding, bassinets, cradles, and baby monitors, pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. The bill requires the President to terminate any duties on these items that are currently in effect under that authority. Any similar duties imposed under other authorities would also have no legal effect.
