HR 4620 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

To amend title 18, United States Code, to include rioting in the definition of racketeering activity.
Summary
This bill amends federal racketeering law to include rioting as a predicate activity. Under current law, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act lists specific crimes whose pattern of activity can form the basis for racketeering charges. This bill adds rioting, as defined under federal law, to that list of predicate offenses. The effect would be to allow federal prosecutors to charge individuals engaged in a pattern of rioting as part of an enterprise under RICO statutes.
