HR 4394 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
To establish temporary enrollment priorities for the conservation reserve program.
To establish temporary enrollment priorities for the conservation reserve program.
Summary
The bill would establish temporary enrollment priorities for the Conservation Reserve Program, giving highest priority to croplands in counties that have been declared presidential or secretarial disaster areas at least three times in the preceding five years and that are located in areas repeatedly infected with Fusarium graminearum or vomitoxin. The Secretary of Agriculture would determine infection history by reviewing crop insurance records and grain elevator receipts. This priority enrollment status would apply from the date of enactment through the end of the first Conservation Reserve Program signup period that occurs after the bill's enactment.
