Summary

This bill amends the Sikes Act, a federal law governing natural resource management, to increase flexibility in cooperative and interagency agreements for land management near military installations. The amendment expands the types of considerations that can be factored into these agreements by including the operations of military installations and State-owned National Guard installations alongside current or anticipated military activities. This change allows for more comprehensive coordination between military installations and other agencies when managing lands adjacent to or near military facilities.
