Veterans Full-Service Care and Access Act of 2025
To amend title 38, United States Code, to ensure that veterans in each of the 48 contiguous States are able to receive services in at least one full-service hospital of the Veterans Health Administration in the State or receive comparable services provided by contract in the State.
Summary
The Veterans Full-Service Care and Access Act of 2025 requires that veterans eligible for hospital care and medical services be able to receive such services at a full-service Veterans Health Administration hospital located within their State in each of the 48 contiguous States. The bill does not restrict the Secretary of Veterans Affairs from providing enhanced or specialized care to veterans at hospitals in other States when appropriate. The Department of Veterans Affairs must report to Congress within one year on its compliance with this requirement and the effects on care quality and standards.
