Summary

This bill directs the Secretary of State to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization under the authority of section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Designating an organization as a foreign terrorist organization restricts the organization's ability to raise funds, receive assets, and receive material support within the United States. The designation also makes it unlawful for a person in the United States to knowingly provide material support or resources to the designated organization.
