HR 3870 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
To repeal a rule of the Environmental Protection Agency relating to national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants: coal- and oil-fired electric utility steam generating units review of the residual risk and technology review.
Summary
This bill repeals an Environmental Protection Agency rule issued in May 2024 that established national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants from coal- and oil-fired electric power plants. The rule addressed residual risk and technology review requirements for these types of facilities. The bill makes the rule void and treats it as if it had never been implemented.
