HR 3801 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
To codify Executive Order 14280 (related to reinstating common sense school discipline policies).
Summary
This bill converts Executive Order 14280 into statutory law. The executive order is titled "Reinstating Commonsense School Discipline Policies" and addresses school discipline practices. By enacting this bill, the provisions of the executive order will have the force and effect of law and would require legislative action to modify or repeal, rather than being subject to reversal by a future executive order.
