To amend the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 to expand access to breastfeeding accommodations in the workplace.
Summary
This bill would expand breastfeeding accommodation protections in the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 to apply to additional categories of congressional employees. The bill makes technical amendments to Section 203 of the Act by adding references to two new sections to broaden coverage. Currently, some congressional employees are not covered by the Act's breastfeeding accommodation requirements. The amendments would extend these workplace protections to more congressional staff members.
