A BILL

To amend the Public Health Service Act to reauthorize the Healthy Start Initiative.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the “Healthy Start Reauthorization Act of 2025”.

SEC. 2. REAUTHORIZATION OF HEALTHY START INITIATIVE.

Section 330H(e)(1) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 254c-8(e)(1)) is amended—

(1) by striking “appropriated” and inserting the following: “appropriated—

“(A)”;

(2) in subparagraph (A), as so inserted, by striking the period at the end and inserting “; and”; and

(3) by adding at the end the following:

“(B) $145,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030.”. Union Calendar No. 284
