Ms. Sherrill (for herself and Ms. De La Cruz) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce

A BILL

To amend title V of the Social Security Act to extend funding for the family-to-family health information centers.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the “Family-to-Family Reauthorization Act of 2025”.

SEC. 2. FIVE-YEAR EXTENSION OF FUNDING FOR FAMILY-TO-FAMILY HEALTH INFORMATION CENTERS.

Section 501(c)(1)(A) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 701(c)(1)(A)) is amended—

(1) in clause (vii), by striking “and” at the end;

(2) in clause (viii), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and

(3) by adding at the end the following:

“(ix) $6,000,000 for the period beginning on April 1, 2025, and ending on September 30, 2025; and

“(x) $9,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2029.”. <all>
