Ms. Brownley (for herself and Ms. Norton) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform

A BILL

To amend title 5, United States Code, to provide that dependent children under the age of 26 are eligible for coverage under the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the “Fix FEDVIP Age Act”.

SEC. 2. FEDVIP COVERAGE FOR DEPENDENT CHILDREN UNDER AGE 26.

Section 8901(5) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by striking “22” each place it appears and inserting “26”. <all>
