Summary

This joint resolution uses the Congressional Review Act to disapprove a rule submitted by the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection. The rule being disapproved relates to the withdrawal of a previous CFPB rule on fair credit reporting and consumer file disclosure. If approved, this resolution would prevent the withdrawal rule from taking effect, keeping the original fair credit reporting guidance in place.
