It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

Summary

This joint resolution disapproves a rule by the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection that withdrew regulations prohibiting unfavorable changes to the terms of existing credit arrangements. The original regulations, issued under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Regulation B) in May 2022, addressed how creditors can modify the terms of existing credit. The CFPB withdrew these regulations in May 2025. If passed, this resolution would invalidate the CFPB's withdrawal and reinstate the regulations on credit term modifications.
