HJRES 111 Introduced Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.

Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service relating to ``Barred Owl Management Strategy''.
Summary
This joint resolution would disapprove of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service's "Barred Owl Management Strategy" rule, which was issued on September 6, 2024. The Government Accountability Office determined that the rule is subject to the Congressional Review Act, which allows Congress to disapprove federal agency rules within a specified timeframe. If passed by both chambers of Congress, this resolution would repeal the rule and prevent it from having any force or effect. Under the Congressional Review Act, the Fish and Wildlife Service would be prohibited from issuing a substantially similar rule without explicit authorization from Congress.
